sms decisions

We are currently in the process of developing a polling / voting site and are interested in integrating sms into the site. Basically an admin would post a new poll/decision and any users subscribed through sms would get a notification of the poll and also be able to answer by responding with a text (a, b, c, d) or something similar to that.

Is this in any way possible?
