Event Reminder emails

Hey has any one worked with the SIgnup Mod and Date and Calendar to have multiple remider emails?
I have been looking all over for this solution for D6 but only found this patch http://drupal.org/node/374086
Seem a version of Signup is missing or Im doing something wrong when patching as it fails.
Can anyone here help?
