Relativity for DrupalCamps (Part 1) - Broward Drupal Meeting Minutes - Wed May 8th, 2019
This month, Jay talked about using his Relativity (https://jay-epstein.com/relativity) methodology for building a DrupalCamp site. He started out by defining what the stakeholders want to build: "I am building a Drupal 8 website so that DrupalCamp organizers and their volunteers can promote their upcoming camp."
He went on to talk about how machine names allow you to define back-end identification and allow for label changes at any time. After that, he went on to talk about the data model, including how to make decisions about the components that make up the site:

This month Jay Epstein (@jeppy64 http://jay-epstein.com/) covered the fifth part of "The Learning Series: Drupal 8 - Let's be friends." Part 5 allowed us to continue building out the back end architecture. We jumped into Views. We learned about the concept of the master content type and its child nodes (and grandchild nodes). We learned about the importance and screaming fast performance of rendering small bits of related content in a view that begins with the master node ID as a contextual filter.
