Resources
For Goa: I have spoken to my friends out there. They are happy to help out. They are a small Drupal shop that cater to local businesses. They are willing to allow students to work from their office, and provide whatever other resources are required.
For Mumbai: I can speak to TIFR (Tata Institute of Fundamental Research) and get them involved into it too. They too should be open to us using their facilities. I will mail them and ask for it. There are a couple other companies I can ask too, for people who dont want to travel (like me :D).
For Bangalore: I can talk to a bunch of companies there. Its more of a 50/50 situation since I dont know if they will be ok with it. due to the type of projects going on there. But there are others I can ask there.

The site is coming along. We just enhanced the Recent Posts tab so that shows you unread messages in your subscribed groups. Thats just purrfect.
Note that creation of new groups is limited to just a few beta testers. We are not ready to open up group creation just yet. When we do, groups will be subject to some minimal approval. We don't want duplicates and want to keep tidy our group names, descriptions, etc.
Thanks to everyone for being patient with this site. When I proposed the site last fall, I had no idea the demand would be this great. We're plugging away at the final todo items
