ARIDI THEME.. not compatible with Drupal core 6.16...

I am trying to modify the ardi theme on OP 2.0, but I am getting this error:

This version is incompatible with the 6.16 version of Drupal core.
It a theme not selectable in the theme section.
I just installed OP 2.0
I am also doing a multisite install, and have tried to put the theme both in...
/sites/all/themes/ardi
sites/mynewdomain/theme/newardi
no luck both places
