Upgrade problem Module spaces

I'm having problems with the upgrade described here:

http://openscholar.harvard.edu/software/download-openscholar/2-0-beta11

But i had an error with module spaces after run update.php like this:

http://drupal.org/node/1203828

I'm running openscholar with PHP 5.2.

Any idea how can I fix that?
