omega 3.x delta layout

When I turn off the following debugging preferences in my Delta layouts, I get an error message after trying to save my changes. When I turn off these features in the main Omega settings, it works fine. It's just not working with Delta.

Enable the debugging (placeholder) blocks for the selected roles.
Show the debugging blocks by default.
This will show the debugging blocks on page load.
Enable the grid overlay for the selected roles.
Show the grid overlay by default.
This will show the grid overlay on page load.

Error message:

We have a zone "div" with a background image that need to contain 3 regions. The first region is 100% width and the other two are side by side and varying percentage widths. One more thing, if pertinent, this take place in the content zone.

The new region has been added to the style. My instinct is to set the first region at 12 cols and expect the remaining two regions to stack below.

How does this really work?
