when is the next meetup?
I've just realized that this group existed.
I couldn't make it to Barcamp 2009 yesterday, so I'm wondering when the next HK DUG meeting is going to take place.
Is there a regular schedule and location? I couldn't find it anywhere on the group.

BarCamp HK 2009 Drupal presentation proposal
Here's the ideas that we came up with last night but a little more organized:
- What is Drupal (5mins)
- A CMS
- A Framework
- A community
- What can you do with Drupal (3mins)
- Show examples of HKDUG Drupal sites
- What's new in Drupal
- Drupal 7 (10mins)
- Review changelog to see what to highlight.
- ImageCache in core - eliminating the person that resizes images to 300 x 400px
- Fields in core - eliminating the web developer
- Real-time theme configuration - Eliminating the designer (5mins)
- Drupal 7 (10mins)
July 16th meetup - SMS with Drupal
Sorry for the late notice again, SOHO still hasn't confirmed but we have to send the message out or else this will have to be pushed back another week.
This meeting will be about sending / receiving SMS with Drupal.
Jay will tackle the subject from a more introductory perspective:
- How can I use SMS on my Drupal website?
- How does the SMS framework/ API work with Drupal?
- What resources are available on the SMS framework?

Hands-on Drupal Theming meetup
3 voted for Wed night, 1 voted for Wed afternoon. Guess we'll do it Wed night then.
I'm trying to learn D6 + Zen theming with a designer friend of mine. We haven't done much yet, just set up D6 with a Zen subtheme folder ready. I guess that's a prerequisite for everyone wanting to join. Other than that, please read up on the theming guide:

April Meetup
Follow up on our conversation at WordCamp, Andy and Ian from the British Council will be coming to the meeting to talk about their site. (Link?)
Last time we had Dave talk about "Dave's list of recommended modules". This time, we have Andy and Ian's list of "Modules to Avoid"! So, come and share your experiences with horrible modules!
This will be a "showcase meetup", everyone should plan on showcasing their own drupal site and talk a little bit about how they did it and troubles they encountered.

New Year's is over, and Nick will be back from the states shortly. Let's have another HKDUG meetup! I see there's maybe a dozen new members of this Drupal Group since we had our last meetup. Welcome.
Here's some suggestions for topics:
- I've asked Andy if he'd give us a tour of one of his sites.
- Caphun I think it'd be real cool if you gave us an overview of what is jQuery and how to start using it.
- Antonio maybe you could show us how you tackle a specific problem on the HK mag site.
