About Me

I work as a creative in arts, marketing, and video production.

Currently, I am the Director of New Media for Misnomer. With Misnomer, I am currently developing open-source tools for artists. In addition to this role, I act as a consultant and help develop online strategies for artists, individuals, and small businesses. I also teach courses and lead workshops in online outreach, video production, and webdesign.

In my past lives, I have worked as a lighting designer in Williamstown Theater Festival, a segment producer at NYU-TV, and a concessions worker for Playwrights Horizons Theater. I also drove 35,000 miles through the Dirty South working for Verizon Wireless, and have met Jared who lost many pounds eating only Subway Sandwiches.

I am an avid cyclist and yogi.

I spend most of my time working as an independent consultant + developer for orgs around NYC.

I work p/t as the Director of New Media for Misnomer Dance (misnomer.org was developed in Drupal).

Misnomer is a modern dance company in NYC. We were recently awarded $10,000 for our proposal to build open-source tools for dance companies, and other artists. Additionally, we were named among NYTimes Top 10 Dance Companies in 2006, and have been featured on Sundance and Apple.com.

Our online outreach initiatives have also been featured in Business Week. and NYTimes.
