Armed with a background in the performing arts, I am your friendly arts advocate working to get more arts to more artists, arts organizations and folks that need it. After working for over ten years in the field, I realized the arts delivery system in LA is broken and that in order for things to get better, we needed to create change at the systemic level.

Arts for LA is a nonprofit arts advocacy organization in Los Angeles. Our mission is to foster a healthy environment in which arts and culture may thrive and be accessible to all in the region.
We believe that access to rich diverse cultural experiences builds social awareness, stimulates economic development and fosters civic engagement. Because these experiences benefits our society , access to these experiences should made available to all. Unfortunately Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, has some of the lowest arts funding in the county. Arts for LA is working to change that at the systemic level by advocating at the local, state and federal level for adequate public funding for arts, culture and arts education.
And Drupal - is helping us build the critical mass needed to help create the tipping point.
