I live in Lund, in southern Sweden.I manage a medium/small website for a local scout organisation/troop with about 150 members.
At the end of year 2007 I started reviewing what open source CMS:es would be suitable for us, as we were using plain HTML/PHP, most with several years of history. One aim was to increase the possibility for non-administrator users to contribute with content. I guess I read some magazines and looked at Wikipedia to find candidates and Drupal was among the top oens. Based on the openenss and activity in the community and the quality of some source code that I looked at I decided upon Drupal. I have since then worked with Joomla for another project and I am happy with my decision of Drupal for our main site.
I have a long programming interest and some formal education in it, and I enjoy fiddling with the PHP code and adapt or make modules to suit our needs. I try to share things that may be relevant to others in the Drupal community.
