I am a PHP developer, with over 3 years experience in Drupal - a back end developer with front end knowledge. I select the most suitable contributed Drupal modules to build a site and write glue code module to make sure it fits the requirements. But when contributed modules are not available for the purpose, I build custom Drupal modules - adhering to Drupal's API, without hacking core.
I am skilled in XHTML/CSS and have converted PSDs to XHTML/CSS theme and then to Drupal. I am also experienced in jQuery and use it to design, tweak and enhance user interfaces. With jQuery, I also AJAXify pages while ensuring it still works when Javascript is turned off, degrading gracefully.
I am also familiar with setting up a LAMP (or Lighttpd instead of Apache) stack from scratch to run Drupal.
I help out in Drupal support forum, contributed patches to Drupal core, and contributed a Drupal module.
