About Me

I describe myself as an Internet Architect on my business card.

Yindi Systems, my consulting business, markets services/solutions for helping small-medium businesses to sell their services more effectively, accelerate change and transition in organizations, teach facilitative leadership skills to managers, assist in the creation successful teams in the workplace, and apply the tools of Six Sigma to sales/marketing in the commercial and public sector.

I originally trained as an architect at Sydney University and Liverpool University in UK. I remain a registered architect in UK, but haven’t done much building design for a few years now.

My passions away from my working life are:

  • my modest 7.2m yacht called Yindi, which is moored on Sydney Harbour,

  • Cross-country skiing, sailing, bodysurfing, overseas travel, architecture, design, Australian Aboriginal culture, theatre, traditional local markets,

  • I would love to have another larg motorbike to tour around Europe for 3-4 months one summer, while I am still fit and active enough to do something adventurous like that. In the meantime I have acquired a Honda PCX scooter to beat the traffic and parking hassles in the inner areas of Sydney. At least it is 2 wheels!

  • Food: ethnic foods, especially olives, traditional anti-pasto, chickpeas, crusty wood fired Italian or Turkish bread. I love grazing in street restaurants in Cabramatta, Sydney’s China Town, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing or Huang Zhou.

Alcohol: a Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot blend always hits the spot. Have developed a preference for Verdelho, when a white wine is most suitable for the food being served. But an icy cold pint of Guinness goes down well too, when the weather is hot and humid, or chilly and wintery.

for exercise: jump on a bicycle most Saturday mornings for a ride, and an excuse for a coffee in the best food shop/café in Mosman, which happens to be Italian – L’Antipasto.
