About Me

My passion for Software Engineering is intertwined with a desire to leave my signature on something of worth. My name is Mokter Hossain, I graduated from the University of Greenwich with a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Computing. My degree helped me build up solid theoretical groundwork and develop strong hands-on abilities.

After graduating, I went on to gain extensive commercial software development experience working for companies such as Mitsubishi Corporation, Red Group Plc, Allsaints Spitalfield. This valuable work experience has taught me a lot about my strengths and weaknesses.

I strongly believe that software engineering has enormous potential to improve the welfare of human life and productivity. My main objective is to develop effective new software architecture that will increase productive capability. Specifically, I hope to make contributions toward overcoming portable device display issues that seriously threaten human computer interaction.

Recently, I have co founded a creative agency called Guru Graphics with mobile centric development and portable display solutions at its center. We currently employ a small team of five and have opened the door to young people, introducing them to the latest technologies and enabling them to gain valuable experience.

I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work on some corporate mobile web projects.My most valuable experience by far has been working with David Axmark (co founder of MYSQL), a leading expert in the field of software engineering. His open source MYSQL is used by millions and has transformed the concept of open source. I would like to follow in his footsteps and give my solutions to the open source community allowing people access and the ability to improve it at no financial cost.

I firmly believe that my academic performance, entrepreneurial experience and business potential would allow me to help my clients towards right direction. I am very hard working, ambitious and aspiring with great expectations for the future and would relish the opportunities to work with great minded people for my personal development.
