About Me: I'm senior web editor at the San Jose Mercury News, where I manage the blogs and podcasts and try to come to up with at least one great idea a week. Most recently, I was a business reporter for the paper, covering companies such as Google and Yahoo. I also co-authored the popular tech and venture capital blog, SiliconBeat. Alas, SiliconBeat died when my buddy decided to leave and go solo.
