My past political party work includes both volunteer and technology consulting for the federal, provincial and municipal levels of the Green Party, Vancouver's Coalition Of Progressive Electors and the Work Less Party.
Philosophically I find the intregral vision as outlined by Ken Wilber, et al. the most compelling worldview. I am a cyclist and have lived car-free since '93. I have an abiding interest in martial arts and currently train in Gao Baguazhang and Mabang Kali. I am an avid meditator in the Theravada Buddhist tradition and help maintain websites for the D.I.Y. Dharma community and Birken Forest Monastery.

I have over 25 years experience as an information technology steward.
My expertise includes strategy and implementation of commodity and re-purposed hardware (including mobile), open standards and free software, particularly Android, Ubuntu and Debian Linux, as well as social media strategy and web implementations centred around the Drupal Content Management System.
My past clients run the gamut from Slocan Forest Products, Environment Canada, and the Canadian Environmental Industries Association to NewMedia BC, Greenpeace International, and the Western Canada Wilderness Committee.
I am a co-founder of the Vancouver Open Network Initiatives Cooperative, Free Geek Vancouver and Indymedia, and have sat on several non-profit, progressive boards including the Society Promoting Environmental Conservation, Vancouver Community Net and the Downtown Eastside Community Arts Network.
I am currently available for short and medium term length contract work.
