I arrived in New Zealand from London in 2003 with my wife and two daughters and I've never been back - says it all!
Complete cricket nut and a Hawke's Bay cricket umpire.
On the work side of things am basically everything Linux. I build, run and maintain a number of Linux and BSD servers in Hastings and Napier.
I have my own dedicated servers in Auckland, a number of development servers in Waipawa. Currently I'm porting everything over to Cloud Servers - which I just love.
I have a number of contracts as a backend programmer for web design companies and a few direct customers that I build websites/files servers etc.
Why Drupal? As a raw OOP PHP programmer that has a good grounding in PERL and Phython, who has used a number of different MVC frameworks including Codeigiter, Kohana and Cake. I find Drupal the most flexible.
