This is a wiki page whose aim is to collect all the references to academic publications about the Drupal community. This initiative is similar to the idea of WikiPapers (http://wikipapers.referata.com/wiki/Main_Page), but focussed on publications related to the study of the Drupal community.
The list follows an APA 6 style (http://www.apastyle.org/). For those cases in which the article is available online in a non-restricted way, a link is provided in "Available at". This could refer to either libre or gratis Open access (http://www.sparc.arl.org/resource/gratis-and-libre-open-access). E.g. Gold Open Access (http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/documents/sherpaplusdocs/Nottingham-colour-guide...), Green Open Access (http://www.elsevier.com/about/open-access/green-open-access), etc.
Thanks in advance for your contribution!
