June meetup
We had a great sprint on May 12, and we came up with a bit of a plan for meetups going forward. We're going to try alternating having a weekday 2 hour meetup and a longer weekend sprint every other month. So, for June we will have a 2-hour meetup on June 6, from 18:00 - 20:00 (and we'll do a weekend sprint in July, etc.). NodeOne DK have graciously offered their offices for this next meetup.

We've been having a great time meeting up for beer on a monthly basis, and I'd like to add another kind of meetup for our community, where we sit down with laptops and actually do some Drupaling. At DrupalCon I talked with folks about the new Learn Drupal project (http://learndrupal.org) which is designed to get people involved with working on Drupal Core. I'd like to start having a regular meetup where we gather and work on the Learn Drupal ladder together. It should be a great learning opportunity, along with getting everyone more involved.

Configuration management code sprint September 23
I will be holding a code sprint for the Drupal 8 Configuration Management Initiative on Friday, September 23 (the Friday before DrupalCamp) at the NodeOne Denmark offices, Flæsketorvet 68, about a 10 minute walk from Copenhagen central station. The sprint will focus on issues around file-based configuration and the entity system. Even if you're not into this topic, feel free to come and hack with us all day!

Nästa DrupalCamp Stockholm kommer drivas och arrangeras av den svenska gemenskapen
Anledningen till detta är att NodeOne byter namn på DrupalCamp Stockholm, en konferens som vi på NodeOne arrangerat tre gånger, och som haft slutanvändare och företag som huvudsakliga målgrupp. Skälet till detta är att vi anser att namnet DrupalCamp hör samman med konferenser som riktar sig mot gemenskapen. Vi kommer därför välja ett nytt namn som bättre kommunicerar det fokus vi valt. Resultatet blir att DrupalCamp blir en konferens som Sveriges drupalgemenskap fortsättningsvis anordnar och som riktar sig till drupalutvecklare och drupalanvändare.
