TradeMark Media is seeking to fill the full-time position of Junior Web Developer. The Junior Web Developer will be responsible for providing maintenance and support for current client websites.

This position is primarily responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining high-performance internal and external websites primarily based at UTHSCSA. Responsible for executing and theming web designs into content management systems including Drupal and other open source systems. Must be able to maintain and manage multiple websites and all integrated features and functionality. Must be able to communicate effectively with clients regarding website specific content.

Position

Four Kitchens is searching for a full-time, highly motivated designer, front-end developer, and Drupal themer with a passion for open-source technologies and making cool, innovative stuff for the web.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing the look-and-feel of websites and related materials.
• Creating sitemaps, wireframes, and visual design comps for internal and client-facing web projects.
• Using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP to implement the designs you create. We work with CMSs (primarily Drupal), so you will usually be working within a templating framework or theming system.
• Designing for multiple devices and interactions (such as desktops, touch devices like smartphones and tablets, and simpler devices like feature phones).
• Ensuring good user experience design in all work you produce.
• Creating new visual designs and branding assets. You may need to work within established branding guidelines or style guides for client-facing projects.

We're looking for 1 or more Drupal developers to help us on an ongoing basis.

A great candidate for this position:

1. has experience building websites using Drupal 6 (at least) and 7 (ideally)
2. is very comfortable using Views, Panels, Commerce, and other popular modules
3. manages her/his time really well

Experience building modules is a great plus but not necessary.

This position will be for 15-25 hours per week and the pay will be $20-40/hour depending on your experience.

This is a 2 month (possibly renewable) contract position in Austin, TX. This position will pay $60-73 per hour on a W-2 basis in accordance to the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Below is the job description as given to us by our client (a Texas State agency).
