This is a permanent part-time position with 30 guaranteed hours per month minimum, and can range to 50 hours per month. Get paid while you learn!

The company, Summit Publishing, is a dynamic, small, progressive downtown Chicago-based business-to-business magazine publisher that publishes the magazines Packaging World and Automation World, along with some ancillary titles. Web sites include GreenerPackage.com, Packworld.com, Healthcare-Packaging.com, AutomationWorld.com, among others.

The Web Developer Intern will report directly to the VP/eMedia but will take daily direction from a Senior Web Developer, who will provide training, support, and mentoring. Independent problem-solving will be the primary mode of working with regular reports to either a Sr. Web Developer or the VP/eMedia as appropriate

Need for a strong Drupal Core and Theme Developer with deep understanding of Drupal template system with the ability to write php-based template override functions for menus, pages, panels, feeds, views etc.
- PHP development, cross-browser CSS, jQuery skills and Drupal-specific jQuery knowledge including Ajax ,Drupal theme and core PHP API experience
W3C valid XHTML/CSS code in a cross browser environment

Hi everyone,

Has anyone made a taxonomy for booklists or book reviews? We have been asked to create our "taxonomy terms/vocabulary" for our materials, but I'm having trouble contexually understanding how these words are going to be critical in pulling wonderful drupal booklists in different ways, or what the possibilities are. HELP! Please give me any examples you can that I can use as examples to visualize how this can be rendered.

We have our Winter-Spring Schedule posted for the Chicago West Fox Valley Drupal Users Group!

Our large group meets on the 4th Thursday Night of the month at McNally's. We also have regular afternoon hangout on Wednesday afternoons for those of us flexible with our schedules.

For the first time ever CDMUG is dedicating an entire evening to Drupal themes. Hans Riemenschneider and Doug Vann will be covering a basic introduction to themes.

Duo Consulting has volunteered the meetup location. We are opening RSVP up to 60 people. Comment your RSVP with name and bring photo ID to gain authorized access to Duo's office downtown.

There are many ways to theme a Drupal site. Hans and Doug will introduce the four ways of theming a Drupal site. Both will discuss the pros and cons of each and when each approach is most appropriate.

Early in my IT career I did a great deal of web development, among other things. But ultimately I was forced to choose one of two paths: continue as a web developer, or pursue life as a Windows server admin. I chose the latter.
