This group is a place for gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans/queer/intersex Drupal community members and their allies to communicate with one another, collaborate together, and help get new members involved.
We aim to:
- provide a nice welcome mat to other LGBTQI in the Drupal community that "we're here!"
- provide a place to coordinate larger outreach into the non-Drupal-using (yet) LGBTQI community.
- provide a "social" place for talking about LGBTQI issues and their relation to technology, employment in our field, interesting community opportunities, etc.
- provide a "safe space" to have the sorts of "meta" community-impacting discussions, like gender, that tend to get ugly and heated when they're brought up in the issue queue with people who aren't as sensitive to them.

Great to meet everyone today at the BoF DrupalCon Denver.
Some really great conversations happening.
One thing that was discussed was what do we want Drupal Rainbow to be? When the first BoF was put together in SF DrupalCon we talked about using this group to promote our efforts, activities and opportunities in the Drupal Community, support one another in our efforts, and promote a space of open thinking and communication.
How do you see us continuing that effort in this group?
What are somethings that you want to see?
A very big THANK YOU to the guys at 601am!
Thanks for the drinks, and conversation last night at XBar guys. I had a wonderful time. Thanks again for volunteering to put this together!

There's also the NTEN Drupal Community of Practice to connect with in person there, too.

We need a GuruDesigner and a GuruThemer (hopefully the same person) | SocialNicheGuru.com
My company, SocialNicheGuru.com, is developing our platform based on Drupal 6 (yes Drupal 6 for various reasons).
We need someone who is a great artist and a great themer too.
I am doing a great deal of development and I am almost done. But I am not the artist that you are.
We are using OpenAtrium, Open Publish, and other off the shelf basic themes.
We need the look and feel to be consistent even if our subsites are based on different distributions.
We will start with one and incorporate others over time.
We also have client needs.
Read moreFacebook Share Link Displaying Wrong Picture
First and foremost, I'm new to Drupal. A developer set up my Drupal platform to manage 3 different websites within my one platform.
I'm having an issue with links being shared on Facebook, and the pic that Facebooks picks up from the coding is incorrect. Is there a way for me to set a default picture for each of the sites within my Drupal platform? And how would I easily do this?
I found this: http://www.left-click.us/blog/addthis-button-how-make-facebook-show-corr...
But I'm not sure how the above instructions would pertain to a Drupal platform that manages 3 different websites.

Hi Friends, I am sad that I will be out of town and unable to attend our big NYC Camp on Dec 10th 2011.
However, I would like to help organize some visibility there, maybe have our stickers out... maybe organize a little get together somewhere for that night?
Any NYC Rainbows interested in doing that?
