Why DrupalCamp:

For more than five years the Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group has highlighted the benefits of an open source initiative. We have helped build bridges from nonprofits and entrepreneurs looking to deploy Drupal to resourceful Drupal development companies, independent consultants and hobbyists in the Chicago area and across the midwest.

So, we have a lot of Drupal Camps going on in the Midwest this year. This is a GREAT thing! It means the local communities are getting strong enough to start hosting these camps. I know this year our camp could have been a lot larger, our venue this year was big enough to handle something MUCH larger, but as I'm sure a number of others out there are experiencing some balance of sponsors, speakers, and attendees that may or may not already be committed to another Drupal Camp.

I thought there was a way to configure particular form items (usually textareas) to use a particular input filter by default that may be different than the global default set in /admin/settings/filters. Does anyone remember that or am I imagining things in my coding delirium?

I am managing a site with over 19 million business listings. Cloning a database this size is daunting and time-consuming. Most of this data is static, but there are some definite advantages to managing it as nodes. In a perfect world, I'd like to be able to move these 19M nodes to a separate database so that I could easily clone the rest of it for development and testing, but I can't think of any way to do that that will allow me to keep working with the data through the Drupal Node Module with its incumbent advantages.
