First meeting of Hudson Valley Group - Happy hour in New Paltz.

2008-05-30 07:00 ESTCome meet and help us organize the group. More details coming in the next few days, but basicaly, we should just meet each other and explore where we want the group to go.
Our first meeting will be in New Paltz, NY (exit 19 off the NYS Thruway). If another location , such as Poughkeepsie is better for many of us, we can find a place there instead.
We can meet at a bar, coffee house, or in a computer lab at SUNY New Paltz. Let me know preferences.

Update: To accommodate the most of us ..the Meeting Place Changed
to Mohoney's in Poughkeepsie which is right across the bridge, next to the train station. I Suggest 7pm to meet up... let me know if another time is better (maybe 6pm?).

When?
It would have to be soon - although I don't live that far from the location, classes are ending (yesterday actually) and that leaves finals time and then it becomes more difficult to travel to the New Paltz area.
My Druthers
I recommend Keegan Ales in Kingston:
1) Frank and I will already be here
2) The beer's fast, cheap and good.

Would be very interested in coming. Poughkeepsie would be easier for me though.
