Come hear Derek Wright (dww) discuss the building of a Drupal-based newspaper site he just launched -- http://SocialistWorker.org -- which involves Panels2, Views, NodeQueue2, CCK, ImageCache, Drupal Markup Engine (DME), send/mimemail, and a whole bunch of custom code.

BDUG is the Berkeley Drupal Users Group. This group is open to everyone in the area who is interested in learning, teaching or networking about Drupal. We meet monthly on the UC Berkeley campus.

When: Once a month, over lunchtime, on the 4th Thursday of the month.

Where: 290 Hearst Memorial Mining Building (290 HMMB), on the UC Berkeley Campus

Directions & Map:
This room is located next to CITRIS headquarters, so you can use these directions: http://www.citris-uc.org/about/visitors/directions
Annotated map of campus: http://drupal.citris-uc.org/files/bdug/large_map.gif

Parking can be a challenge around campus. The closest area to look is around Hearst & Euclid. Also, Hearst Mining is about a 15 minute walk from the downtown Berkeley BART station.
