Volunteer for Booth Duty
I'd be very interested in volunteering for booth duty. I can make the whole show - or just a single day if it works better for scheduling.
I can even bring my Ubuntu development laptop to show off developing Drupal in a totally open source source environment.

Booth costs
Hi, the check for the LinuxWorld Booth is going out today. We are in booth 1630 directly across from the .org section.
I am going to list the costs for the booth equipment:
carpet - $162.75 (padding adds $148.50)
6 ft table - $120.50
2 chairs - $125
if we need power - $119.50
Sub-total: $527
if we need internet - $1,095, but I think there will be wireless or we should convince a neighbor to let us connect a WAP.

7 Expo passes
With our 10x10 space you can register up to seven individuals for exhibitor staff badges. We also get a limited number of session passes that we will hand out to people who are helping with the booth.
If one of the individuals wanted to purchase a full conference pass you do receive a 20% discount as an exhibitor.

Application submitted for LinuxWorld Product excellence award
Hi, I submitted Drupal for a LinuxWorld product excellence award. I submitted Drupal in the application development tool category because the form didn't allow for submission of more than one category. Ideally we could submit Best In Show and Business Application.
Judging will occur on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 in the Exhibit Hall. All vendors must supply a representative at the booth during this day of the Exhibit Hall at all times. Judges will NOT make multiple trips to vendor booths

Electricity, chairs, table, carpet ordered
I ordered the equipment for the booth this morning. It came to $608.75 for 4 chairs, carpet, electricity, and a covered 6' table.
