there were two sites I saw listed:
http://profiles.savannahnow.com/real-estate-and-development/Southern-Hom...
sorry if I missed your site. please email me a/your url and I'll add it to the list and keep the thread short.
Perhaps we can work together in listing all the sites that have a directory built in drupal and the functions each one has and create a master list of sites that have directories already and what all the functions.
We might be able to request a copy of the code for the functions (plug-ins) and build a phenomenal master directory that we all build use and share together.

This is good one to include

pvlocalfirst
Pioneer Valley Local First is Drupal. The search box searches local businesses. (CCK 'business' nodes)
Mine
Mine is a long ways from being finished but a lot of people seem to like it: Coulee Region directory.

ibsTeam.net
I just moved my hobby directory to Drupal - http://www.ibsteam.net - it is still in the works and a lot of things need to be done. The best examples would be - Real Estate USA Section states like Florida, California and Arizona.
vBulletin Forum integration
Nice site! In your experience, was integrating a vBulletin forum into Drupal seamless? Do you have a single sign-on system or do users have to log in separately from the main drupal site?
.
Their "read me" post says:
"I would like to make a note that our Forum and Real Estate Directory are two independently running systems, which means that you still have to register in the forums in order to become a member even if you're registered directory member."
So no single sign on.
Curious why they went with a vb license for such a small forum. I can understand it for huge forums but one that small could have easily been handled with Drupal.
Sorry, going terribly off topic... LOL! Forums on the brain...

@chowzer - Michelle is correct - vB is not integrated into Drupal.
@Michelle - the forums were there since 2003, originally it was based on phpBB. I had multiple problems with phpBB like optimizing URLs and it was hacked a few times. I mentioned in the forum that at some point I will buy a better application, and the one I really liked was vBulletin. One of the forum members actually went ahead and bought a single license for me. That's how I got vB :) Now, since I'm not developing forum actively, there was no reason for updating the license, and I can't integrate it into Drupal, because the forum's version is too outdated for any current vB to Drupal integration modules.
Makes sense
That's understandable. If you ever decide to pull the forums into Drupal, I think there's a vb to Drupal converter.
Anyway, this has gone terribly off topic. I'll stop now. LOL!

http://www.touchlocal.com/ using Drupal?
Are you sure http://www.touchlocal.com/ is using Drupal? Can't find any indication of that? They also have a job posting for a Ruby on Rails/Java programmer :)
The site looks pretty good though...
Don't think so
I couldn't find any sign of it being Drupal, either.

It's not Drupal...
It's running on Mongrel HTTP server and using Ruby on Rails.
Nice site!
Help converting directory site to Drupal
Where can I get help in converting my existing hobby directory site to a Drupal site?
Another one to include
Many functions are still in development, but http://www.GlobalDoctorOptions.com is essentially a directory site.
Include Good Business directory websites in Group Info
As there are many requests by people looking for good business directory implementations using Drupal, I think we should include these websites in Group info box as people landing on this group can directly visit and check these websites. They can then contact the developers or post request here accordingly.
Romanian business directory
This is a bit more international (Romanian only at this point), but we recently built a Romanian focused business directory on Drupal 6. We found that there are not that many existing modules that did exactly what we wanted, so we ended up writing quite a bit of custom modules for the site:
Urbo.ro
We used our own mapping module, custom Solr for search and our own login system. We'll be writing a writeup summarizing our experience when we find a bit more time (the site is still in beta and we are tweaking the last few details)

Very nice site! By chance are you planning to release the modules?
Can't wait to read your write up.
Thanks.
Module release
Thanks for the compliment.
The problem is that most of the modules are very custom for what we needed for this site. We are planning on releasing a few more focused directory sites soon and we will generalize some of the modules for those and then hopefully release them.
Best,
-Daniel
RVParking.com
Just stumbled on http://www.rvparking.com and am impressed. It's like 80% of the business directory plan in my head for Coulee Region Online. And it's built on Drupal. Gives me hope that this is possible... LOL!
Michelle
It's excellent!
Great find, Michelle - that's a cracking piece of work. I'd love to read a case study detailing their approach and solutions.
.
I found it via this post: http://www.tech-wanderings.com/drupal-page-grows-stale
I contacted the author about writing a blog post on how he got the map popups working with the list of parks, which is something I desperately need to learn how to do. If he knows others are interested, maybe he'll write more about it, if he has time?

Fitness focused business directory
Hi all.
I thought you may be interested in a US-wide fitness oriented business directory that we just launched:
My Gym and Trainer
It's built in Drupal 6 and integrated a lot of stock modules with our own modules and custom theming. Any feedback or questions are always welcome. :)
