If I was the only Newbie you can remove the Drupal for Newies from the agenda.

I will try for the next meeting.

Hi Kiernan, Sorry you won't

Hi Kiernan,

Sorry you won't be able to make it tonight! I think I'll still plan to have the "Tips for Newbies" section if other folks are interested. I have a presentation that I gave at a DrupalCamp last year about things I wish people had told me when I got started, and I was thinking of using that as a jumping off point for discussion. If nothing else, we could trade Drupal war stories. :-)

Hope to see you at a future meeting,
Christina

Re: newbie stuff

Hi there,

I'm running behind creating my node module. :-(
I was wondering if after I present my existing YouTube gallery if I could do some newbie stuff too, such as, present my "page.tpl.php" for a site I made and go through some pitfalls I had to overcome.

so the 30th is a wed!

I'm totally date challenged :( I scheduled a break from my client on "thursday the 30th" so that I could come to the meetup, only to be told yesterday that the 30th was in fact wednesday! Needless to say, I cant fly home tonight then back in the morning and then out the next evening, so I'm not going to be able to make it tonight. I will however make sure that I schedule the right day and day of month off for the next event.

In the meantime for tonight, Justin Loati & Jeremy Devoid will be there to make sure you guys all get settled in to the conference room & should hopefully also guide you guys to marg's for the post meeting event!

Have a drink for me!

Chris and Teresa: Sorry to miss you tonight, but hope to see you at future meetups!

Roger: I'm looking forward to seeing your YouTube gallery, as well as hear about the challenges you faced with the page template. See you tonight!

Can't Make it

I was planning on attending, however I won't be able to make it. Between a guest to take care of and some car troubles that limits my possibility to make it over. I look forward to any and all future meetings though!

No worries! Hope to see you

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight. So exciting to meet Upper Valley Drupallers.

I'm sorry we ran out of time and didn't get to talk about "Tips for Newbies." We should definitely have an entire session dedicated to getting starting with Drupal, so please stay tuned.

Just to get an idea for what meetup formats people are interested in, I've created a quick little poll: http://groups.drupal.org/node/138654 . I'm sure we'll rotate among all of these formats eventually, but I just wanted to put feelers out to see if there were strong preferences for one over another at this point. And of course, feel free to suggest other formats in the comments of the poll.
