Berkeley Drupal Group - Thursday August 28th, Noon - 1:30pm - Lightning Talks
With so many people in the group working on such a wide variety of projects and different areas of Drupal I thought it would be nice to do some Lightning Talks. Personally I would love to learn more about what everyone in the group is up to with Drupal!
Lightning Talks are short 5-10 minute presentations or discussions (with a short QA afterwards) about a particular topic. If you are able to show a little bit about the project you are involved with or maybe what you are up to in the Drupal community now is your chance. Topics could include:
a. Your department or company's website project
b. A cool new module you found out about or have been using
c. A cool new module you released or are working on
d. Community news or interesting happenings
Please reply to this email with your name and what you would like to talk about and we'll compile a list of speakers for the next meeting.
Depending on the time available, after the lightning talks I'll also do a little presentation on a unique, extensive Drupal project covering CCK, Views, Panels 2, and a good bit of custom modules/code to bring it all together

Tao and Jasper have welcomed a new addition the the world, Milo, born August 4th. Congratulations! Since Tao has his hands a little full I'll be helping with the meetup this month and though maybe we could do a little something different.
