The Image Resize Filter module is Freeaking awesome. Just saved my butt.

Imagine if users could upload any size image they have and scale it in their WYSIWYG or by adding a "width" attribute and the system would magically make a cached version of the image based on the width and height tags. Who doesn't want that. Users don't have to change their behavior and images are sized perfectly for maximum performance. Thank you quicksketch!!!

If you can't wait to see how it works Nate has created a great little video for you to check out.

This solved a huge performance problem in just a download and short configuration. Sweet! On to the next bottleneck -> number of elements on the page. Many of you have heard my rants on WYSIWYGs, I'll still rant, but this makes it a little more tolerable.

Please do sign up. It really helps to get things going.

I Think John still has a copy of Pro Drupal Development 7 for the group newbie with the best question. Good time to bring a friend!

Great photo for this presentation. I hope everyone finds it to be an awesome presentation! I also recommend using Image Resize Filter in combination with the "Max width" setting provided by the Insert module. Cheers!
