DC Drupal Meetup October 20th

The monthly DC Drupal Meetup will take place on Monday, October 20, at 7:00 pm at Stetson's Bar and Restaurant, which is right by the intersection of 16th and U streets, NW. We'll meet at the upstairs bar at Stetson's at 7:00 and will start presentations at 7:30 pm.

This is a community-run event, so please come ready to talk : ) We'll have the usual round of 5-minute lightening talks starting at 7:30 pm. This is your chance to demo a site, talk about a module you're working on, and bring up anything else Drupal-related. They tell us the wireless is working and we'll have a projector, so come ready to show your stuff off. Remember, these meetups are for Drupal developers of all levels, Drupal users, and people just interested in learning more about Drupal, so be sure not to include too much Drupalese. If you want to talk or would like to suggest a topic, please post it in the comments.

Well, I certainly don't know many of the new faces and names on the listserv anymore, but I'm eager to start attending these meetings again after a brief sabbatical from the Drupal world (it's a scary place outside these walls.. hah!). See you on Monday!

Sorry to miss yet another Drupal meetup. I'm on the board of the Maryland League of Conservation Voters... and will be attending a great MDLCV function tomorrow evening. So that makes three missed meetups in a row, alas. Hopefully the next date will be the magic one.

As usual, kudos to the meeting logo designer. Fun!

I will be there and show off our last week's work: the DrupalCon DC web site.

Eric, Bonnie, Jeff, Young and I have been chipping on it for the better part of the last 7 days. I'll give a short run down of the site and then ask some of you to get on as beta testers :)

Although it's a bit far for me to come to meetups in person these days, I'd love to help beta test the drupalcon site - let me know if that's doable, ok?

I miss all my Drupal friends in DC!
