here is a new toy/tool to use with SecondLife / OpenSim
http://drupal.org/project/slauth
this is a module to be able to log in a drupal's site using your SecondLife / OpenSim credentials
in the admin panel of the module, you can define the login uri and you can choose a login flow : 0=drupal only / 2=inworld only / 3=drupal -> inworld / 4=inworld -> drupal
to be able to use the drupal login if the inworld login fails or invert...

This is a lsl script that allows you to post articles on the site from a notecard.

i m trying to port the components i have made for Joomla! to be used with drupal.
the first one is called slcontact.

i will not release them in one time and i will proceed by steps because im learning how to dev for Drupal on the same time.

i project to release a module that will depend on this framework and will allow :
- to register on the site from in-world
- to receive messages from the website ( like the contact form )

the message system is already working and i will need then to see how to register on the site ( and learn cvs...:( i prefear svn :) ).

Anyone doing anything with Drupal / SL??

We are looking for somebody who knows both Second Life as well as Drupal to be a part-time webmaster for the metanomics.net site. Metanomics is a prestigious weekly show about the metaverse and its impact on business and society hosted by Robert Bloomfield of Cornell University. It has been written-up in the Wall Street Journal and is the definitive show about this topic. This doesn't pay a lot, but also won't require too much time for a knowledgable webmaster. It is a great opportunity to work with some of the top thinkers in the metaverse.

I have immediate interest in exploring the following Drupal/SecondLife integration elements: (not a comprehensive list! :)

-Have SecondLife chat transcripts autopost as nodes to a corollary Drupal site

-Map SecondLife accounts to Drupal accounts and vice-versa

-Have registering for an Organic Group on a Drupal site automatically add a user to a SecondLife group and vice-versa

-Have Nodes on a Drupal site automatically publish as posts in a SecondLife group and vice-versa

-Easily publish movies (video capture) of SecondLife activity to a node... A machinima (http://secondlife.com/showcase/machinima.php) plugin for Broacast Machine (http://www.getdemocracy.com/broadcast/) anyone? ;)
