The next Drupal meetup will take place Monday, November 17, at 7:00 pm at Stetson's. This event is for anyone interested in Drupal and everyone is welcome - newbies, hard core developers, users, and other Drupal fans.
The meetup will follow our standard format with 5-minute lightening rounds presentations starting at 7:30 pm. This is your chance to present what you're working on - whether it's a site built on Drupal, a new module, or a problem you can't seem to solve on your own. We'll have a projector you can use and there will internet access. Anyone is welcome to speak but it's not required. If you would like to present, please post your topic in the comments.
And if you don't want to wait two weeks to get together with other Drupalers, go to the documentation sprint this Saturday at MLK library!

Felix and I will be there tonight and will discuss what Development Seed is doing to create Drupal websites more efficiently. We'll discuss the problem of repetitive tasks in site building across projects, and the solution of prefabricating common sections on a Drupal site into modules in order to speed up the process of baseline functionality on each website. Flying In Too Late
Wish I would have seen this earlier and I could have changed my flight. I live/work out of Colorado but I am very interested in the DC Drupal Scene - In particular what ya'll have going with Development Seed. I am running a very fresh nonprofit start-up currently focusing on Drupal, and can use all the advice I can get:) If ya'll are staying later our would like to grab a refreshment on me later in the week I would very very appreciative! Yes, I did say drinks are on me.
