I'm asking this for a site

I'm asking this for a site I'm contemplating redoing from custom Rails as a Drupal 6 site due to the large amount of products they have and the huge array of options for future expansion.

One feature I'll definitely need is multiple price levels based on user group, so that e.g. Site Members could get a discounted rate. Additionally, it should support shipping levels so that e.g. all items in taxonomy "cats" cost $x to ship while "dogs" cost $y.

Thanks :)

Ubercart appears more stable

Hi Damien,

I am currently working on an ecommerce site in D6 and went with Ubercart myself. There is a lot of buzz around Ubercart, and Ryan, the developer, is well on his way to having a stable release out. It seems to me that it does things more in Drupal 6's way than the ecommerce module and from what I've seen so far it looks quite good.

hello,

i'm curious about that myself, but I personally couldn't find a module (so far) that could handle different price for different roles/groups etc...
