Starting the meetups at a later time

Events happening in the community are now at Drupal community events on www.drupal.org.

Who would be interested in starting the next meetup at a later time? I'm proposing this because I (and I'm sure others) get off work at around 6:30. Usually, by the time I get there, I feel like I've missed the meat of the meetup.

Thoughts? How about 7:00?

No later than 7

6:30 would be ok, but if it starts at 7 it'll end at 10 - that is about the latest I'd want to go. Some people have long rides home.

I am coming from NJ and leaving work at 6PM.

grammarian, I know what you

grammarian, I know what you mean. In general, what if we time boxed the meeting at 2 hours, anyway? Would certainly put some pressure on us to not go off on tangets as often. 6:30 would work for me, but I'd be 30 mins late.

I got off work between

I got off work between 5:30pm and 6pm, if the meetup won't start until 7pm, then I have to either go home or work longer. neither works well for me.

Coming form Jersey

I'm coming from NJ and would personally prefer 6PM or 6:30 so I'm not getting home too late on a 'school night'.

Later the Better

My vote would be for the latest option that works for everyone. Seems like we can at the very least push back to 6:30pm?

Sounds like everyone is

Sounds like everyone is leaning towards 6:30, which sounds more accommodating than 6. litwol, can we schedule the next meetup accordingly?

feedback received on this

feedback received on this site is by far less than number of actual attendees at meetups. I prefer we raise this question at the following meetup or two so more people will be able to (or have no choice to but ;) ) give feedback.
