Cape Town Drupal Meetup
I want to organise a Drupal Meetup in Cape Town, I would like to know if anyone is interested and where will be the most convinient place to meet, perhaps a Mugg & Bean as they have Wifi and are practically everywhere. So where would be the most convinient place? perhaps the V&A Waterfront M&B? please suggest some places :)
Now all we need is a date, we could meet sometime in march, perhaps an evening in the first week - maybe a friday - i dont know.
i would like your feedback, i see that they have nice successful meetups in Jozie, so its time that the Capetonians pulled their act together.

Cool, that's a great idea - I was hoping someone was going to organise one :) I lived in Pretoria last year and went to quite a few of the drupal meetups in Jozi. The aim is to meet other drupal people and learn something about drupal - even if it's something small.
Mugg n Bean is a good venue (unless someone wants to donate a venue + wifi?). V&A Waterfront is fine for me (I'm in Obz). It would be great to get Adrian Rossouw involved - he was one of the core developers and knows more about drupal than the rest of South Africa put together. He was at a few meetups in Jozi last year.
Ideally we want to move people from hearing about drupal to installing their own sites to contributing code.
But getting together is the first move! March is great - the Jozi meetups were all just after lunch on a Saturday (bring your own drinks). Can I suggest March 7th at 2pm?
