IDE's are like beer. Everyone has their preference :)
For me I liked PHP in Netbeans more than Eclipse cause of the more advanced code completion and class/function intelligence in Netbeans. Even though it's now owned by the Evil Empire a.k.a. Oracle
Wow, thanks!! I switched to Netbeans last year from Eclipse and the only thing I miss is easy server access via ssh (rather than having to connect via source control). Otherwise I found the install/setup and general use of Netbeans to be a lot more friendly than Eclipse, and now I'm psyched to try NDDT.

I really like Netbeans
I started with Eclipse and switched to Netbeans as well. I like how Netbeans will read in all the functions and everything from existing source code.
I even got a hard core Java guy to switch over to Netbeans from Eclipse when he started to see how well Netbeans had intellesense about the code.
