As Drupal becomes a popular CMS choice for business, government and education, Drupal skills are becoming hugely valuable, both for inhouse staff and freelancers. Unfortunately, there's a real shortage of great Drupal developers in our region. After quite some thought about solving the problem of our sparse supporting eco-system, we realised we needed to offer training here; a rare beast indeed throughout Australia and New Zealand. So, one of our goals now for 2009 is to help Drupal flourish here by developing more talented techies.
We're about to start rolling out our new Drupal training workshops in Melbourne and are not only educating developers, but also clients. If you're in our region, is Drupal training something that you think may benefit your staff or clients? Or is that a silly question! If so, please feel free to pass our details on, alternatively, we'd be very grateful for an introduction to anyone you know operating Drupal in our region who's interested in learning more.
