Hi folks,
I'm not going to be able to coordinate this month's Upper Valley meetup. If someone else would like to jump in and secure space, etc., that would be awesome. Otherwise, we'll see you next time!

Is TSS available?
assuming that it's next thursday (and not tomorrow) I'll be in town (2 in a row!) so if the space is available I'll take the helm on coordinating the evening.
I can do a quick demo about a couple of cool 'patterns' for development that i've come across, if anyone is interested.

Last Weds of the month
(My previous comment appears to have been eaten, so we'll try this again....)
Thanks for stepping up, Chris. We've been meeting the last Wednesday of the month, so it would be Feb 29. But this is by no means set in stone. I've been coordinating the TSS room with Justin and/or Jeremy -- I haven't done that yet for this month, so you'll want to talk to them about holding the meetup here. Thanks again!
I'd like to come
I'm usually in Burlington and have hosted some D get togethers there. I'm in this neck of the woods for the winter and would love to check in w/ other Drupaleros.
I'm working a D7 project and having fun w/ new and improved taxonomies. I might be able to demo something in that department.

Quickstart presentation -> March
I planned on doing a Quickstart presentation, but have a family commitment next Wednesday that I must attend.
I'll plan to do the presentation at the March 28th meeting, which also gives me time to go over setting up NetBeans to adhere to Drupal coding standards, and some of the cooler stuff that Drush can do with the Quickstart related commands.
On a related note, I've been struggling to get Aegir installed in either Quickstart or on my Linode server, so consider this a request for someone in the know to present as a future topic!

NetBeans + Drupal
Yes, that is a great resource. I used it to make a diff of what Quickstart has already set up, and what it leaves to be done manually to meet the spec.
Do you have an "Aegir installation in a can" resource, by chance? :)
The closest I've come is mig5's video

Linode's StackScripts are not working out as I had hoped...

Aegir's pretty tricky to install, mostly because it's evolved so quickly and there's a lot of old documentation that's no longer relevant. From the couple of times I've been successful at getting it running, I remember the best documentation being in the source (INSTALL.txt or something similar). I think they have walkthroughs for different distros somewhere in there.
Awesome. I would love to
Awesome. I would love to know what the Diff's are that you found.
As to Aegir. I actually have no clue what Aegir really is :)

Please post as Event
Hey folks,
Sorry for the late response. If this Wednesday is indeed a go, Chris P: would you please post it as an event here on g.d.o (post to NH and VT groups), just to be official?
Thanks! I'll catch you all next time, in March.
Moving
Hey guys - I'm moving to Manchester, and will no longer be able to attend the Upper Valley meetings regularly. I'll still be working at the same company, but telecommuting more. I'll try to drop in from time to time, however.

Sorry to see you go! Hope
Sorry to see you go! Hope you enjoy it down there though, and I'm sure we'll bump into each other at the next Drupalcamp.
We'll miss you!
We'll miss you, Louis, but at least we'll still get to see you at general NH Drupal events! Good luck with the move.
