Can I sell SaaS based on Drupal?

Is it possible to sell an online service (SaaS) that is based on Drupal without being forced to distribute my PHP module source code?

As long as the clients do not have access to the code, you have not distributed it.
However, if you give them a device with the code within it, that may be a distribution.
