Unfortunately unable to make it: in the midst of double-triple crunch-time (with cherries on top, and espresso beans at the bottom.) Damien, shall we do Panels next month, then?
I'll drive two hours for that!
The subject says it all.

That's what I was intending.
We still on?
Damien, As I'm the only person signed up, do you still want to have the meetup? I'm happy to drive down. But if you think better to cancel, just let me know.

Hope it is still on.
I'm planning on driving over from Brattleboro and bringing along someone else, so I hope it is still happening. Please post within the next 15 min. if it isn't.

That's all I need to hear... As it happens, I have a boatload of questions about Webform. See y'all there.

Meeting notes
In attendance:
* Roger Goode
* Joanne Patalano
* Beth Armour
* Damien McKenna
We discussed several base themes that each were familiar with:
* Omega - very popular amongst the group,
* Zen 5.
* Adaptive Theme - (correct me if I'm wrong) was selected for use on D6 sites at UMass, they're using Omega for D7 sites.
UMass module vetting:
Beth explained that modules were vetted by staff at UMass prior to them being allowed for use on the college's sites. Damien asked if Metatag had passed the vetting stage, Beth was unsure but would enquire. Damien explained the (sordid) history of Nodewords, gave Metatag's current status and discussed that while the KEYWORDS meta tag was pretty irrelevant today that other tags, e.g. the Open Graph meta tags from Facebook, were still very relevant.
Roger demoed a site he was building for an old client, a rebuild of Gibson Pewter's site from Wordpress to Drupal 7. He was trying to find to build it so people could select the items they wanted but handle payment later; Roger had thought of maybe using Webform but Damien found a "pay in person" module for Commerce which sounded like it should work well for Roger's needs.
Image carousels:
* We discussed the Views Slideshow and Flexslider modules for building carousels.
* Roger showed how the Adaptive_Image module resizes images for different viewport sizes and worked well with Views_Slideshow for his site.
Next month we'll have the Panels presentation.
Great meeting!
Thanks everyone for a great meeting!
Just a clarification on the UMass themes - I am currently using Omega for Drupal 7 sites hosted on the College of Natural Sciences server, but I'm not sure what the preferred theme will be for sites hosted on the OIT server, although I think it will most likely be Adaptive Theme or Omega.
Damien, thanks for all your great work on the Metatag module. I look forward to giving it a try.
