Response to comment: Not to be found on Drupal Support
In response to comment Not to be found on Drupal Support
Btw, shouldn't Drupal Norge be listed on http://drupal.org/support under Other languages?
And, I liked the old theme better than the one currently set at Drupal Norge ;)
Hei!
The original name of this group is Drupal Norway actually, hence the url: http://groups.drupal.org/drupal-norway but drupal.org has a new policy that the word "Drupal" should not be a part of a new group's name anymore because everything here is about Drupal. So the group name Drupal Norway wasn't approved, eventhough I explained that Drupal Norway is an entity, the name is a direct translation of the sitename: Drupal Norge. We then ended up with this group name: "Norway support".
Anyway, a talk with drupal.org on being listed under "Other Languages" on http://drupal.org/support isn't made yet because Drupal Norge isn't "so" live yet. Almost but not quite :-) The pre-membership turn-out while still in development is quite promising. The moment the site is up and about, then we can talk to them about this.
Also, we can discuss and vote on a theme once Drupal Norge is up and running. Besides, the theme at Drupal Norge now is still on its development stage. We can all decide on this as a community at Drupal Norge. I'm just so tired of Garland and other turnkey themes already and I personally prefer a custom theme, that is not to be found under theme downloads here at drupal.org.
:-)
John

Thanks for the thorough answers!
My only concern with the theme is that it doesn't reflect Drupal's style. Good examples on local Drupal sites that I believe work well are http://drupalcenter.de/ and http://drupalfr.org/. http://joomlainorge.no/ and http://typo3.no/ also does this well. I realize that the theme is under development, so consider these comments as suggestions for further development :)
The different features of Drupal Norge looks very promising, I'm eagerly awaiting the official launch. I'm also interested to see how the relationship with Drupal1.no is - whether the two sites will combine resources or compete. I'm hoping the sites will join forces, as the alternative is not very positive for such a small community of developers and users.. See http://www.drupal1.no/drupal-i-norge#comment-220
Keep up the good work on Drupal Norge!
