Local and National South African Drupal community information. Sub-pages to this one are wikis, so feel free to edit them to add your name. Contact a group organizer if you need changes made to this page itself.
You do not need to attend meet-ups to be part of the Drupal community; Using Drupal, reading this, participating on Drupal.org and Groups.Drupal.org all make you part of our community.

Volunteers and Sponsorships
From an hour a week just posting a few replies here and there, really, the barrier to entry for volunteers is very low, you can do it, add your name.
Volunteer
We need two kinds of volunteer, those that can pinch of an hour or two a week to help with actual work, administrative or development, all skill sets needed; And perhaps points of contact or name-lending. The later will be for things like registering a domain name under someone's name or administering access to a Google Analytics account for a website and giving everyone who asks access to it - also someone who can just answer questions about a local group like when they meet. So these are very light on your day, please volunteer.
- Riaan Burger My relevant skills include programming, themeing, managing projects and teams and community organization. For now, I volunteer dedicated participation here in the discussions on g.d.o.
- theamoeba My relevant skills include module/theme development, drupal site setup/administration, Linux server administration, PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery... I am happy to answer questions about local groups, help co-ordinate any discussions around the groups as well as answering Drupal related questions. :)

Added national page
Just edited this page to add the national link and wiki.
I try to devote an hour a day to this topic as my volunteer work ;-)
Unfortunately the last week was a bit busy, so I ran behind. Will try to put in more time to make up for that.
