The next Washington, DC, Drupal Meet-up will be on Wednesday, March 14th, at the Science Club (1136 19th Street, NW) at 7pm. The timing is great with it happening right before Drupalcon, which I know a lot of the folks in DC are planning to attend. What better way to get excited for the conference than to get a bunch of laptops out and show some new tools that people are using! Forget the projector and formal presentations that we normally do - we're bringing a wifi router and want people to come and show off their work and get to know more folks over beer.

If you don't have anything to show or are not so technical, this is an awesome opportunity to see what Drupal is capable of and learn how Drupal works for other organizations and hear about the experiences they've had with it.

We'll be in the basement again. First round of beer is on Development Seed to get the Saint Patrick's Day spirit started early.

See you all there and feel free to start posting ideas that you want to show or requests of what you would like to see here!

I've been doing a bit of work with the timeline module ( http://drupal.org/project/timeline ) which I'd like to get feedback on. The module lets you use a very nice interactive javascipt timeline ( http://simile.mit.edu/timeline/ ) to see the output of a (views module )view. I've upgraded it for drupal 5 ( http://drupal.org/node/99552 )and have been getting into some custom theming work on it.

I should be able to show people how to use Komodo with real time debugging of a Drupal site :-)

Sweet! I can share how I

Sweet! I can share how I find things on Drupal, what pages I think are most helpful on Drupal.org, and how to go about debugging an issue, not from within a debugger, but on Drupal.org. Say you turn on a contributed module, and it breaks your site, or it doesn't work. Now what?

Also, maybe I can have a demo of views and some views contrib modules fired up, and if I get the time, setup a Drupal wiki, or we can walk through some of the demos that are already up, and talk about a Drupal wiki versus a wiki in Drupal. :)

We have a sort of wiki set up on http://docs.drupaldojo.org that we can use as an example site if you'd like. It is a work in progress site and it would be good to look at what we have and what we can change about the wiki features.

I'm also pretty heavily involved in the Drupal Dojo now so if anyone is interested we can also look at and play with the "Dojo stack" that is used to conduct the lessons and will also be used for live sessions from OSCMS. The stack includes VNC, Skype and IRC.

ezPDF

I may show some things using ezPDF; which I like MUCH better than FPDF. I'll know this evening if I'll be able to get some sort of very short presentation together.

I'll be there.

I should be able to attend this one (after missing the last 2 or so).

Also, I just (like in the last hour) came up with a cool CSS hack to replace the little "more" links that Drupal generates with image buttons. If there's time, I can show that around.

I've got a pool tournament to go to by 9:00, so I'd have to leave a bit early, but I'll try to make it. Been a while.
