I just installed drupal to jumpstart a new in-development bolivia.indy site. I actually used a bryght install profile since it was better than nothing... but, this document seems like a good basis for an indymedia install profile! what do folks think about hosting an indymedia profile on cvs.drupal.org itself as a contributed profile? I would be willing to help get it started..
Although I was told by a Worcester IMC ally that the above recipe doesn't quite work, I would like to help create an Indymedia profile. I have to check back in with the Boston IMC folks to see what's holding up their move to Drupal. In general should we start a 'problems to overcome' wiki-- or use a profile project's issue queue for this?
Groups.drupal.org is a part of the drupal.org group of sites. Logging in on this site requires an account on the main drupal.org site. If you do not have an account on drupal.org, you will need to create one, log in over there, and then come back here where you should automatically be logged in.
