DrupalCampNYC 7 Kickoff Party

As the organizer of the DrupalNYC Happy Hour, I've taken it upon myself to organize the DrupalCampNYC 7 Kickoff Party. Our gracious hosts at the House of Brews will be hosting the party and providing appetizers. For those of you who have not attended the DrupalNYC Happy Hour, House of Brews has an incredible beer selection, including gluten-free and organic options. They will have happy hour specials (if you get there early enough) and we are working on getting some other specials.

For first-time campers, this party is a great chance to get to know the community before spending the day together at DrupalCamp. This is also a great chance for everyone on the waiting list to be involved with DrupalCamp. And for long-time community members, well, this is just an excuse for us to get together for beers!

I have heard that there is Joomla event happening the same day as DrupalCamp. If anyone has any ties to that community, please invite them to join this event as well. We have also had an offer to reach out to the Organizing 2.0 conference happening that same weekend. The more the merrier.

This is shaping up to be the best DrupalCamp ever. Let's start it off with a bang!

p.s. Since November's Happy Hour would fall on the day before Thanksgiving, and this party is the next week, we will not be holding Happy Hour in November.
