I noticed that the agenda for
I noticed that the agenda for this month's meeting hasn't yet been decided. Would anyone be interested in presenting some topics on theming? Personally, I'm fairly well acquainted with tpl files, preprocess functions, etc., but there are also a lot of theming modules out there that I haven't fully investigated and would love to hear more about. Does anyone have a favorite theming module they'd be willing to talk about? I'd still be interested to hear about Panels and the group's experience with it. Additionally, Display Suite made its first production release a few days ago and I'm wondering if anyone's tried it out yet. If you're not familiar with it it basically provides drag and drop regions for everything from nodes and teasers to search results. It has an API, hooks, Features and Views support and a bunch of helper modules. Pretty amazing stuff.

Since I've just started
Since I've just started playing around with Panels, I'm wondering how Display Suite stacks up - complementary, competing, some overlap?
New site almost ready
If there's "slack" in the schedule and if anyone is interested, I can show our new church site and discuss some of the key points that went into getting it off the ground to where it is. The demo site is accessible from the 'Net so we can look at it live. Although not surprising to old pros I'm sure, we're up to around 20 modules! Is that too much?? :)
Same here
If anyone is interested, I'll have my laptop and I can show how I got Drupal 7 running with breakpoints, step-debugging, inspection and Intellisense on Visual Studio 2010 using VS.PHP. I'm giggling like a schoolgirl.

Ok, all sounds good!
Ok, thanks to everyone for volunteering.
Tentative Agenda in no particular order:
jwatson's church site demo
Drupal PHP Debugging with Visual Studio by Brian
Discussion/demo of Display Studio
Progress Report on One Day Drupal seminar, and next steps
Plus the usual Q/A and so on...
I think that's a great 2 hour meeting.
(Jake isn't feeling well, so no 960.gs, but send him some good vibrations to feel better)
Step debugging w/o VS?
So Seth, did you give up on getting step debugging working in Eclipse/Aptana? That's what I really wanted to see last time, and although I look forward to seeing Brian giggling like a schoolgirl ;-), I'm on a Mac so his Visual Studio demo won't help me..
Jeff, I have it working (and
Jeff, I have it working (and stepping, variable watch, etc.) on WAMP. Posted details about it here: http://groups.drupal.org/node/43502#comment-127323
Will miss it
Going to have to miss it -- have to stay home with the kids that night, my wife will be out. l will look forward to the recap...
looking forward to meeting you all sometime...
I'm brand new to Drupal (I'm upgrading from WordPress), and I hope to join one of your meetings to meet people. Unfortunately, I have a conflict Thursday night and won't be able to make this one.
Next time there's a meeting in Concord, I'll definitely come. Is this where notice of all meetings are posted?

Hey
I will be able to attend this one, looking forward to it!
Begging off
Sorry to beg off so late but I kept hanging on at work thinking I'd feel better, have some energy, etc. Instead I'm dogged and going to go home to bed :(
Last Nights Meeting
Dabbled in Drupal couple of years ago, but moved to Joomla. I enjoyed the meeting last night, Thanks Jeff K for bringing me, found it informative, gave me some insights and ideas.
However guys, I am one of those 'Designers' and I do use Dreamweaver for many projects, it doesnt just have to be used for non programmers/designer types :)
I will be attending the newbie day, and if needed Miche, I may be able to get my hands on Lanyards, I can check on it if you want.
Sue
Thank you Sue!
I have asked Great State Bev for lanyards, but if that falls through, I will holler!
