New g.d.o NYC manager

Silently last week the manager of the NYC Drupal meetup group switched from me, Jacob Redding, over to Adam Saunders. Adam approached me over two months ago and offered to take over the Drupal meetup group to which I say "Go for it. I'm going to China!" ;) Adam is somewhat new to the Drupal world but, after drinking some really strong Drupal juice, has dove in head first. He organized the last Drupal meetup held at Fast Company and he has some great ideas about how to manage the incredibly fast growing NYC group.

Please take a second and welcome Adam as the new NYC Drupal meetup manager!

I'm really excited about the meetup group taking on a new manager especially with all of the new growth in the group. When I started heading up the meetups over a year ago the group had less than a hundred people and now its pushing 200!! This has brought a lot of new life into the meetups, new ideas, new conversations and much more discussion. It has also brought people.. lots of people to the meetups jumping from a mere 10 or so people to 30+!

Adam and others have great ideas on how to make these meetups that are pushing 30+ attendants worthwhile for everyone attending. Whether you're a newbie or an advanced Drupal Ninja the future meetups will have something for you!

Also remember that the Drupal Meetups and Drupal Camps are not ran by a single person bur rather several people that come together to make it happen.

I would to thank everyone that has helped make the NYC Drupal group what it is today. Sam, Scott, Noel, Michael, Hans, Oleg, Charles.. and several other people have consistently pitched in to help make the group what it is today.
