How to create Yellow Pages Website

The initial purpose of this group is to come up with a "recipe" for building a Business Directory using existing modules and a bit of custom coding. The primary development platform will be 5.0, using out of the box 5.0 modules.

Support for 4.7 will also be provided, but in my experience (having built a business directory in 4.7), it would be best to upgrade if you can.

As I mentioned in the Drupal Forums, I have an existing directory and plan to upgrade to 5.0, introduce a series of subscription levels, and rebuild the whole site in the next couple of months.

I'll document my progress here, and hopefully that can go some ways towards developing a generic Business Directory module.
