Directions: http://www.abi-nh.com/about/directions
Agenda:
Michelle Lauer (miche) will be giving a special preview of her DrupalCon presentation
"Views Examples: Using Arguments and Relationships"
In her session, Michelle will share a repeatable strategy for using arguments and relationships with Drupal Views to display specific subsets of content. From a simple list of all nodes in a single content type, to a complex collection of related information, Michelle’s session will demonstrate a systematic approach to building all views and show examples of using arguments and relationships.
Michelle is a true Drupal queen, and her presentations rock... if you aren't going to Drupalcon, this is a "don't miss" event.
Other items will include the usual Q&A.

Perfect timing...
I've been meaning to come and introduce myself for the last few months (newbie that I am).
Arguments and relationships in Drupal Views is precisely what I've been struggling with for the last few days... so I'm looking forward to it. And to meeting you all.

Suggested discussion topic - Contact Forms and Anonymous users
Here's a problem I'm struggling with on our new site - allowing anonymous users to access the personal contact form for certain registered user accounts. I'd like to move away from always embedding people's email addresses all throughout the content. Seems like the Anonymous Contact (http://drupal.org/project/contact_anon) is dormant and the new Contact (http://drupal.org/project/contact) from all the forum posts gives me pause. I realize I'll need something like Mollum to handle spammers but I'm interested in any solutions people have tried.
long standing issue...
Yours is not an uncommon problem... MANY site builders/admins want anonymous users to be able to do this, but there is no "standard" way in Drupal.... I remember reading a long issue/thread regarding the issue when I ran across the same thing. Since 99% of sites do, and if not, SHOULD have mollom, captcha of some sort, etc. filtering out some spam, it seems like this should be in core drupal eventually, but probably wont until mollom is in core. who knows...
Let me see if I can track down the link I found when I had the issue.. I don't remember the solution off the top of my head.
It appears that this "may" be a feature now in Drupal 7?! which is great if it's true... there's a lot of comments here, so I didn't read to thoroughly. http://drupal.org/node/58224
I think there are patches here that may apply back to D6.

For spam prevention, I've had
For spam prevention, I've had good success with Spam Span for email addresses in content, and CAPTCHA with reCAPTCHA for forms.

Jake might make it? I'm grabbing a video camera. :)
Really, would anyone be interested in me bringing a cheap video to record presentations?
Yes to video
Yes -- going to have to miss this one too... :(
